Issues Agenda⁺ and
Alert Mail⁺

Issues Agenda⁺ is a database into which we channel all the information we gather, in a structured manner. This makes it possible to gain a view of complex issues and their development, and to evaluate the opportunities and risks they involve, based on validated data. The database allows for the clear linking of relevant industry topics, with related players and dates. All information we receive is entered into the database as part of a continuous and clearly defined process: the results of media reporting, for example, information from events or from political contacts.

Johanssen + Kretschmer evaluates the information, which is entered by a range of authorised users, uses it to draw up scenarios and derives strategic and tactical recommendations on the next steps: on how to set the current agenda and on the overall communications approach. As part of this process and through discussion with our clients, for example, we create templates or wordings in Issues Agenda⁺ and make this content available to all authorised users.

Within Issues Agenda⁺, we offer our clients the Alert Mail⁺ format. Using this layered approach, we can alert decision makers when information relevant to an issue becomes known that needs to be quickly addressed. The tools we use for this – such as wordings or positions – are already recorded in the database, and can be downloaded by all authorised users.
