Report⁺ and Evaluation⁺

Johanssen + Kretschmer has developed the Report⁺ and Evaluation⁺ formats for the systematic evaluation of media coverage, and uses them to develop strategies and initiatives. They can be used for all kinds of analysis, or for comparisons over time.

The basis for Report⁺ is provided by the Johanssen + Kretschmer Media Monitor, using which we analyse the content of relevant media reports. Our analysis is tailored to the needs of the individual client: from the selection of media and subjects, through classification and evaluation of the reporting to the nature of the report. Basing ourselves on the results of this, we create a Report⁺ for our clients, which offers a reliable reflection of the situation for a defined period of time. We produce graphics with comments that illustrate the intensity and tone of the reporting, and identify top subjects, players and media.

In Evaluation⁺, we subject the data we have gathered to in-depth analysis, during which we look at defined image parameters in the media reporting. In addition, we can illustrate trends relating to a wide range of subjects, or clusters of subjects, and demonstrate the influence exerted by communications initiatives or events.

Combining the facts identified with insights from issues management enables us to give concrete advice on what to do in communications and support our clients in the construction of viewpoints and wordings. Status⁺, Report⁺ and Evaluation⁺  thus open up new opportunities for communication, both on a day-to-day basis and within the overall corporate communications strategy.
