J + K publishes own CSR report
Johanssen + Kretschmer is the first German communications consultancy to publish its own report on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Doing so, J + K aims at engaging the communications sector in a wider debate on corporate responsibility as business model. This CSR Report could go down in Public Relations history. Not just because it’s the first one from a communications agency in Germany but, above all, because it shows you how we use CSR as a tool to add value at J + K. With an economic crisis looming, we prove that our idea of CSR smoothes the way to sustainable entrepreneurial success and added corporate value.
We take the current financial crisis as a warning and direct our attention towards our own business and to the sector as a whole. What happens when agencies break their codes of conduct in order to get well paid mandates? Could it be that maximising short-term profit does long-term damage to communications consultancies’ business models?
