Responsibility



Corporate social responsibility or CSR has featured at Johanssen + Kretschmer from when it was first set up in 2000. Advising companies and organisations on all issues relating to CSR is one of our areas of business. At the same time, we have kept a very close eye on our own responsibility as a communications consulting agency and oriented our conduct accordingly.

 

We don’t see CSR as an end in itself: we see responsibility as the basis of our business model. Seen in this way and thoroughly integrated into all we do, we are convinced that CSR smoothes the path towards lasting corporate success and added value in society.

 

In 2008, we organized all the agency’s CSR activities in a systematic manner and checked their effectiveness. Whenever it was necessary, we supplemented existing activities and programmes. At the heart of this process were the requirements of our stakeholders, above all our clients and staff.


The results appeared in our very own first CSR Report published in December 2008. Based on the G3 scope of reporting set by GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), the report meets Application Level B. We have divided our CSR into the three areas of relevance to us: Ethics and Business, Social Responsibility, and Ecology and Climate Neutrality.
